Since it was asked on this forum to post the specs for this oil, I thought I would do just that.

Amsoilman,
For convenience and cost, what is the best route to take to get Amsoil products? Calling local "dealers" listed in the phone book was fruitless. What about going through you? Or would I do better to call Amsoil direct, sign up for the membership and order stuff with the discount?

My scheme would be to stock up initially, then "renew" only when I run out of stuff. This way I can save some membership expense. Can I sign up for 6-month intervals and let it "run out" in between?

The least expensive way to buy the Amsoil products is of course wholesale. The only way for this to happen is to have an independent dealership. As far as cost for this dealersip,it can be as little as $10. 00.

This $10. 00 fee allows the dealership to buy at the wholesale costs for a period of 6 Months, then it is renewable for $20. 00 per year. Kinda like being a member of "SAM'S CLUB",only you know have the opertunity to have your own business, and sell those products to others, as well as set up retail and commercial accounts to sell or use the products and make a profit from them.

If an individual is going to buy only for the benefit of using the products for themselves,it is usualy less money including the dealership fee to go this route. A real plus going this way,is the fact one can sell if they want. There are no requirements of having to buy any amounts or any quota's, and you can order direct from Amsoil, and not have to go back to the person who set you up. This makes it very nice, because one can order direct from Amsoil and have the products shipped to the address they choose.

Once an individual is in the system, they are tied to the sponsering dealer until they have been out of the system for a period of one year, then they are free to sign under someone else if they so desire.

If a person wants to buy at the retail cost, they can call Amsoil directly on an 800 line and order what they want, but they do need a "customer number". This allows the one holding the "customer number" to make the profit on the sale, which would be the difference between wholesale and retail.
