Amsoil Nanofiber air filter????

Just wondering what the long term results of the NanoFiber fiters might be. I trust someone has some high mileage dusty conditions with oil analysis by now.

I've had one on for a while now - mostly paved roads - a few dusty off road miles - analysis came back comparable to the previous BHAF I had installed - will be doing another analysis in another month or so...

Good to hear Gary. Was hoping you'd see and reply. I drive lot's of very dusty roads, some pipeline r/w that you can write your name in dash dust every hour with the windows up. My BHAF filters great, but we know it's not the highest flowing filter.



BTW way, I enjoyed your Paris trip video. LOL

From what I hear, the Ea Pre-Filter combined with the Ea nanofiber filter works really well for keeping dust out.

I tried an Ams/Oil filter after running the AFE oil type filter. I had to pull down into 2nd gear twice in 08 on the California passes and the filter minder was always pulled down. I changed back to an AFE this year and on the same passes I stayed in 3rd and the filter minder never pulled down. Just driving to work and getting on it some the filter minder would pull down. I was not happy with the Ams/Oil filter. My oil samples have came back just fine with the AFE.

I wish somebody would come out with a drop-in paper cone filter for the 3rd Gens. That'd solve all our issues.
