Amsoil Series 2000 75w90 Shelf life

I bought a case of Amsoil Series 2000 75w90 gear lub in July 2002. I used 8 of the 12 quarts. The 4 remaining have been sitting in my garage since (not climate controlled). I plan to change the diff fluids again and I'd like to use the remaining 4 quarts.



Are they safe to use?

Absolutely safe to use. No worries.

What is there to were out, or go bad? as long as they are keep sealed you are good. It realy doesn't matter if the temps go high or real low. Even after 2-3 years there isn't a problem. Don't worry I always have 8-10 cases stacked around.

Just make sure to shake it well.

Usuallay good advice even if the label does not state same.

Additives preciptate out of oil products. Same for coolant.
