Thanks for the info
I am now running the (MTF)Manual Transmission Fluid, but the firtst 38,000 I ran the (HDD)Heavy Duty Diesel 5W-30.

The MTF was designed specificly for the NV 350, NV 1500, NV 3500, NV 3550 and NV-5600 as well as T-4, T-5, T-18 and T-176 Transmissions.

Amsoil is some good SHATT! but like John says, the others are good too! I happen to like the Red Line Gear Oil... Run it in my mustang Diff with Ford Friction Modifier. I run Royal Purple with Cheese in my Mustang manual transmission with a bottle of Ford Friction modifier. Truck gets Amsoil in the Transfer Case. I hope it does not let me down! Oo. Oo. Oo.

The american V-twin I own, gets Amsoil 20W-50 in the oil tank. That works like a champ, especially in 100 degree sacramento HEAT!!!

I have Redline in the trans and it works pretty good, but I am going to pull it out and use the MTF here real soon. I like to change every 35K miles due to the amount of towing and shifting I do. Probobly excessive, but hey, I figure it couldn't hurt anything. I'll be ready for my 70K service here in about a week or 2.
