Problem with 5.2

Hot for teacher

Why didnt the driver pull ahead, he had to hear the bells and see the lights?? he could have pulled ahead into the intersection!? Oh well

I bet the trailer was scattered miles and miles down the tracks!!

If you look closely at the video... . the driver appears to have been clear before she even STARTED across the tracks. if she wasnt, well time for a remedial english class... . owing to the Do NOT stop on tracks sign off to the right.

Also watch the gate come down on top of the cab before the sleeper... . and then she bends it off. ouch. Train did the rest of the job on the gate... . just doubled back on itself... . Im surprised the gate didnt flail back and hit the guy in the ford.

At least it was a *light load* of strawberries... . instead of the steel load that was involved in the Amtrak 59 collision at Bourbonnais IL. That one killed passengers and as far as I know, the engineer went out on disability--- really got thrown around enough to cause brain damage.

Oh... never mind... . its a shortened clip in the link above. Here is a link to the full videos--- then you can see what Im talking about!

At least it wasnt a fuel tanker or other hazmat. Things like this kinda make me want to ask the driver where thier brains are at. (me having driven both big rigs and locomotives). :-{} And also everybody walked away, which is always a good thing.
