Amzoil Question

I have the engine Amzoiled now I went with the 15w40 diesel & Marine, they are sugesting 12k with a filter @ 6k. Maybe it's my imagination but it seemed the engine runs free and smother with the new oil. Has any of you noticed that.

I added DD3's at the same time I changed to Amsoil. Can't comment on engine changes. I do know of a gasser race truck with carburetor that idled up 500 R's after the change.



Putting the bohemoth by-pass filter from Gulf Coast on this week. I'll just change the filters when the oil gets dark. Neighbor went 10k without his oil changing colors!

Did you notice how much smoother the dip stick was going back into the tube when checking the oil level? I noticed that first thing.

I knew that would happen! Whitmore isn't on this one very often so I thought it might "slip" by. Was going to word it a little different but knew that wouldn't fly.

Dip Stick

Got home from work read this post ,and couldn't stand it yesterday i didn't pay much att. to the dipstick but went right out and was checking it out and got caught. Looked over my shoulder and there was the wife here i was slideing the dipstick in and out man im haveing a hard time explaining this one, I think ive been set up:-laf :-laf :-laf . Harv
