"Right now, I want to . . .
- Give blood.
- Show some kindness toward Muslim Americans as true as those Japanese Americans who fought in Europe against the Nazis.
- To personally participate or somehow contribute to waging authentic, devastating war against military & political targets in each nation proven to be fund, quarter, train or conceal these "Islamic warriors". I say "warriors" who's individual bravery and personal manhood is demonstrated by surprising the vulnerable, the unarmed, the unprepared, and the innocent in their beds, at their dinner tables and their workplaces. "Warriors" who's bravery and personal valor avoids an armed opponent because a mother of two sitting at her computer terminal on the 110th floor can't hurt them, much less the 6 year old on a curb, crushed by falling debris from one of their glorious acts. Such "honorable warriors" as those who remain at ease, on a smoke break, until one of them realizes a western news camera is rolling, then all arise and fire their weapons to pretend valiant defense of their cause.
- I want to immediately cease all foreign funds and aid (including humanitarian) to each nation who's general populations were filmed rejoicing over this recent attack (and particularly Egypt no receiving 2 billion/year).
- To find, expose and jail every source of terrorist organization funding which now flows from our nation.
- To walk along the Boeing Field Flight Line with my friend, Buzz Huget, during lunch, praying for our nation and for His comfort & healing for all those now suffering from this devastation.
- I want to enroll in a nationally certified "Deputization Training Course" (maybe 80 hours initial & 40 hours annual recertification) that enables Concealed Weapon Permit holders to carry their arms on airplanes and everywhere else they choose to.
- I want to go to packed sporting events at least once a week just to sing our national anthem together.
- I want to believe, and see it borne out, that I now have a President who truly wants "most" of what I want (and I'm willing to think this one does).
- And I want to believe that, if it comes to it, each of us will rise above ourselves to make the same desperate trade Jeremy Glick made when he and other United Flight 93 passengers took over their hijacked airplane - and saved maybe the White House and/or another thousand American lives.
May God bless and save our nation from the literal cowardice, pretending, posturing, "moral relativism" and truthlessness (political correctness) that has so polluted our lives, institutions and our politics and that has so cultivated this recent crop of rotted fruit. Having said such things, my job now is to find out where these things are in and polluting my own live, then to do what I can, by His grace, to purge them from me, or at least to better manage them.
Honestly, I know I am being cowardly and a "pretender" when I see a spade but call it a club because of what those who hate sharp objects might think of me, and therefore what they might not do for me.
