Attention: TDR Forum Junkies With so many bad dealerships around, I feel the need to promote Century Motors in Wentzville, MO.
On the way down to Jacksonville, FL last week for a funeral, the clutch went out on my 96 pickup while at a truck stop. Century was the closest dealer I could find. I called and explained the suituation, and I was promised a tech when I arrived. As soon as the pickup was off the wrecker, they had their head transmission guy working on it. They helped to arrange for a rental at a discounted rate (The ram hemi is nice... the only thing that it couldnt pass was a gas station) and gave suggestions on sigseeing and day trips to take. In general, we were treated like royality. Only a day later, we were back on the road, and so far, everything seems to be in order. Having been stranded on the road before, I know that many times folks just dont care, and they schuedle you for the first open time a week later. I truly feel that they went out of their way to ensure that my pickup was fixed right and as fast as possible. If only ever dealer undestood the basics of customer service and compassion the way the folks at Century do.
