OK, MDW and I installed DD2's in the truck this weekend, and the stock clutch is already giving indications it's not real happy! My problem is, I have to hitch up our 13,500 lb 36' 5th wheel RV for a trip before the South Bend Con OFE I ordered this morning can be installed and broken in.
To make life easier on the stock clutch until it gets changed out, can I unplug the data link plug on the EZ to kill the extra fueling and leave the MAP cable plugged in so that the "boost fooler" portion of the EZ still works? In other words, is the EZ getting its power from the CANbus link or the data link? Any other problems with doing this?
