I just got my 2 mic fuel filter setup done. I got the fleetguard filter and mount and used a Glacier Diesel bracket to mount it. There mount is alot nicer than I expected. Anyway, I got some -8 AN fittings and stainless line from work and got it all installed today. Looks good and no leaks. Do these an fittings ever work loose? It seems like with some vibration and time they might. I would hate to be on the freeway for an hour loosing fuel on the road.

Fittings

Thanks, I'm just being cautious as I haven't used AN's before. They are stainless and seem alot heavier than the ones I have seem in the auto stores.

hi there, the very nature of "an" fittings means that they are aircraft fittings-- if your next ride on a 737 doesn't "coast down" to a landing, then all the -an fittings worked!!-- my sense of humor,-- but don't wory about an fitings --they are the best you can buy--testing ,specs,etc----- have fun fitting braided s/s hoses to some of your other fittings-takes special tools etc. bob n

Thanks for the humer. The difference when used on aircraft is that they are all safety wired in place. Mine seem to be fine. No leaks.
