Just wanted to mention the senseless loss of this poor ISB 200 in a 2009 Freightliner M2 school bus chassis.



Independent shop did a service and left the drain plug loose... :mad:



Tech here pulled the pan down and said everything he can see is just blue.



We told the repair shop to call their insurance company, big claim on the way.



If I can, will try to get pictures of internals while flipped over this week.



RUMOR has it that it ran about 15 miles with very little or no oil in it. I will verify or deny that when I get more accurate info.

Well at least the tech gets a couple points for not putting a Fram filter on it :-laf
 
Insurance adjuster has asked that we tear it down to evaluate the condition of the block and crankshaft. The head is off now and upper end looks good.

Will get pics of the lower when they get it apart.



Apparently a complete engine replacement will total that '09 school bus..... :eek:
