I sold my 1995 std cab 4x4 2500 today. Seems just yesterday we were a new couple. I still remember the smile on my face reflected in the shiny grey paint. Full of promise and high expectations there was so much in our future. Where did the time go? What went wrong? We had wonderful trips to Oklahoma,Colifornia,Colorado,Texas and Wisconsin. There had been some problems. Mostly in the tansmission. But in general trouble free. She was always loaded up to max Gvw and never complained. But then I drove a 6 speed 3500!! I knew the end was near in our relationship. I promised she would be sold as soon as I took delivery of the new mistress. But I did not have the heart to let her go. 3 years later there is another 3500 in the garague and the 2500 sits outside waiting for the new owner. I hope there relationship is as good as ours has been. I saw the smile in his face on the dull grey paint of his new truck. Hope this was not two silly for you guys.

Nope never too silly on things like that. I have had my '97 since brand new, and in the last 6 years the old girl and I have been up and down the road 150K together, and I almost love 'her' as much as my wife... LOL :D :rolleyes: And I know the day for a new one is coming in the next few years and I am sure that I will have the same feelings you do... LOL..... Just take care of the new one as well as the last... . Now if I can just do the same about the wife every couple years... LOL :D Oo. :{

ya no... i have been in the same boat as you twice now... selling an 01 and 98(my baby) and both people that bought the trucks had no idea and i feel i let them go to a bad home... . i know they will not care for them the way that i did... its sad but financially i could not afford to have 2 3500's... . :{

I had a 96 club cab 5 speed and I had to have one of the new quad cabs so I got a new 01 HO 6 speed and passed the old 96 on to a new home. Well about 10 weeks later I take the new 01 to the truck pulls and low and behold the old 96 shows up :eek: and then beat me out of the money, :p the 96 finished 3rd and I got 4th in the 01 :(

I got to go now :{
