Don't know if there are many members here from the D/FW Texas area... . I'm trying to find an exhaust/muffler store that can bend 4" tubing and not having any luck... anyone know of one in this area?

Thanks.

If you are looking for an exhaust system for your crew cab, try : http://shop.ivalueinternet.com/bigexhaust/index.cfm/action/productdetail/product_id/2426.htm. That is www.bigexhaust.com. They supply enough pipe for a crew long bed. EarlKann used this kit for his crew. ~$300.

I went with the Stan's Headers kit... unfortunately it does not fit quite right because the frame on my Crew is different than the '89-'93 Diesels. At least I know my '92 donor frame was different. The center section of the truck, the frame on my '92 was a 8" C-section, while on the Crew it's a 6" C. Thats where the problem is (the exhaust kit is NOT the problem... . the quality is great and it would probably fit like a glove on the intended year models). That 2" difference places the crossmember where the carrier bearing bolts up right up against the exhaust pipe.

Your donor was a 350 correct? My 91 W250 has a 6" frame just like your crew. I wouldn't think they'd make a different kit for each frame? You can't just jockey it around a bit to make it clear?

Travis. .

My donor was a '92 W250 Club cab... . maybe they changed the frames in '92? I read somewhere else on here where someone stated they indeed went with a 8" frame (middle section) on some 1st Gens.

I've tried jockeying it around some... . just wont quite clear.
