My wife and i just got hooked up with a Dachshund rescue.

It's called almost home dachshunds rescue. I'm a little nervous but she's gung ho about it. she goes and picks up our first wiener from the humane league tue eve. i have 2 minis now so it's gonna be a house full. anybody have experince doing this? any pointers would be greatly app.

i'm not interested in anything but getting these lovable dogs good home's. i'll get rid of all my toys before i part w/ my pups!! i can't see how people can abandon these dog's (or any animal for that fact!) keep your fingers crossed for me

Have a good place to board them, such as a dog run, or a place to separate them. A lot of times the so called reasons for a dog being dumped will show up very shortly. It is for the dogs well being to board them outside with proper housing. You will, as I have fall in love with them and it is hard to turn them loose. We cared for several dogs and cats in the past. Some were awesome and some were a pain.
