Greenleaf has been doing some serious work on my truck, and in a need to repay him, I have signed over the title of 'ol Blue. He is now the owner of a "brand new" 90 D250 with 304k miles. She has been sitting in my yard for a few years now since her differential gears fell apart. GL has located a donor 3. 07 rear end in Michigan and will bring it down this summer, to drive her home.

I removed 'ol Blue from my sig line last week and he has since picked it up. Blue was my first diesel and I hate to see her go, but I would have probably never gotten her back to roadworthy condition.

Phil,

It will be a site to see you drive her again this summer, Lord willing. I suppose I'll allow you to drive the dually a few more years untill I take that too. :--)

This is cool! :)

At least I get to see a pic of a couple of guys I have talked with on the computer a time or two! Maybe one of these days we'll get to meet somewhere.

I would`nt call it a fetish Bill, in my case i just like to "collect" them... . sorta like paper clips, or bottle caps and stuff,LOL

You guys with more than one gotta be careful! I had to sell my '89 w250, the green machine kept climbing on to mate with it! :--) I didn't want little 3. 9's running around and it upset the neighbors. :D :D

Hey Bill,

The real reason most folks own two 1st gens is for spare parts and recovery. Say one of my 1st gens takes a crap somewhere I can either rob a part off the other truck, or hitch up the goooseneck and go get it. Fortunately I haven't had to do that yet. But I have had to haul a second gen b/c the lift pump died (back to why I own two 1st gens :) ).

GL, congrats on the new truck. Is the Mrs. going to drive hers out this fall?

Jeremy

Jeremy oh yes I know this. I really regret trading my 91 W250 CTD off, really wish I could've just bought the crew and kept the 91. Its ok, got another CTD on the way soon from Oklahoma lol.
