Annual mushrooms in the yard?

This happens every year around the end of August, first of September. The first pic was today, the next two were taken 9-5-2020. The grass goes away in an arc and these mushrooms pop up. The ‘shrooms pop up after a heavy rain. Anyone know why and how to stop it?

They grow where lightning has struck. Might have been decades ago.

Aeration fixes it.
