Okay every one can have their laugh now te hee.

I put some of the anodized valve caps on my Truck now i can't even get them off to air up the tires used small vice grips and pliers any thing I can put on them to keep from sticking the next time?????#@$%!

Yup, use some Permatex or Loctite Antisieze compound... should be available at any parts store... you will only need a TINY amount in each cap... the siezing happens because of electrolysis between the 2 dissimilar metals contacting each other. The compound prevents the electrolysis.

Don't be tempted by "more is better" as it does tend to get and spread everywhere!!

I'll give a Plus 1 to the anti sieze compound. . I used it on Motorcycle spark plugs but I find myself using it on anything that even looks dissimilar, now that I have it in the tool box.

I've started using it on lug nuts on my aluminum wheels, #1. they won't stick and #2 they won't bind up so when I use a torque wrench I can get a fairly accurate torque. The tire places won't use it

I used some of those one time and the rubber inside the cap depressed the valve stem and I ended up with some flat tires beside not being able to get them off. Seriously the best place for them is in the trash can. bg
