2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Another 02 Delete

I was just checking out my New 02 & decided to check the lift pump pressure. Grabbed my gauge & went to put it on the schrader on the back of the fuel filter. Guess what, It's not there! and Dodge wants $37 for one. Either this is another cheap out or they don't want us knowing our pump pressures.

It will probably decrease the lift pump warrarty claims. But you know what it will do for the injector pump claims.



Ask the dealer how they check it now.

My '02 has the schrader fitting right on the VP44 itself, at the banjo fitting between the VP44 and the filter housing.
