Looking for a little help wiring a 2nd generation seat into my 85 crew cab. I installed a 98 QC seat in the rear of my crew cab, I'm going to use the seat belts in the seat. I searched old forms and got some info from a form dated 12/29/05 by DBurroughs. [Thank you very much] The single main plug for the seat consist of these color wires, Dark blue, Pink, Tan, Tan/Red, Black/Pink, Black/Green, Green/red, Green/Black, Blue/White. I know these wires connect to the following,

DB-Power in the run/Acc mode

PK-Fused battery

BK/G-Ground

Green/BLK-Fault signal

TN-Left door switch

TN/RD-Right door switch

What I don't know is what the others connect to. Do the door switches ground out when the doors are open or closed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I do have pictures of the framework and final install if anyones interested.

Thanks again, Paul

If you are talking about the 2 wire connector for the solenoid. the black wire is a ground and the orange/black wire comes from the seat belt control module.

Bob, Thanks for the feedback. I was able to get my hands on a 98 factory manual, the wires I was in question about ended up to be these, DB/WT-10 amp fused in start/run mode to the seat belt switch. LG/RD- leaves the seat belt switch and goes to the seat belt switch sense in the instrument cluster. The last wire BK/PK- another ground. As far as the door switches grounding they are like most others and ground when the door opens. I wired the seat last night and they seem to be working fine. Thanks Paul
