Magnaflow 4inch fits pre 98 12v?

HT3B compressor housing. MWE slot?

I've been on OT since the begining of the year and the money is burning holes in my pockets !

Bought a new snowmobile trailer

Installed a FASS

Now I want 4" exhaust on the truck. I almost picked up the phone and ordered Rip's but then I came across a thread that talked about some mileage loss with bigger exhaust. That I don't want.

I would figure your mileage would increase.

I've noticed quite a few people getting new exhaust so what have you guys been seeing ?

i agree with 24v-DSL. . . . when i initially put my first exhaust on my truck, i would just rip on it to hear my turbo sing. other than that, i got better fuel mileage, im averaging something like 20-22 mpg on the hwy.

I agree. I also have a 4" exhaust, I have the Jerry Jardine from Wyoming and it will not hurt fuel consumption if you drive like you do now. You will like the sound of it though.

Just added a 4" to mine, and noticed a power increase. Once I keep my foot out of it, I will see about a 1-2mpg increase.

IMO, the only mileage loss will be from your right foot enjoying the new found cool exhaust note.

AKA the RRF I can't understand that the turbo has to work less.

You will love it. I went to visit a friend I haul hay for and was going up his driveway, gravel in 2nd gear to keep the dust down. He was in the yard playing with his dogs, and when I pulled up, he asked first thing, what I had done to the truck. I just grinned and he looked at the twin pipes. He said it looked like my truck coming up the drive, but sure didn't sound like it. I asked what, is it louder? He said not louder, but it sure sounded meaner. Gotta love it.

Well ,

I got Rip's exhaust on last night. Very nice kit, needed a little tweaking here and there but basically a simple install.

I fired it up and was surprised at how quiet it was at an idle, just a little lower note. Now when you get on the throttle is when you get some sound ! I'm loving it. No drone, but I haven't towed yet.

So far I'm very happy with the system. :)
