Took the truck in before it ran out of basic warranty last month for a few small things. Leaking diffs, leaking front signal lenses, leaking 3rd brake light, and the infamous hitch recall. Piece of cake, only a couple hours right? Not with these guys. #ad

Dropped off @ 7:30 and told them I needed it by 3:00. They musta started @ 2:45. When I got there @ 3:15 it was still in the air, hitch not done, lights not done(oops, wrong lens), diffs still draining. Left @ 4:30, late for my wife's office Christmas party. #ad

Parts came in and they "finished" the job yesterday in a mere 3 hours. Metal shavings all over from the Rube Goldberg hitch fix. #ad

I looked at the lights when I stopped for fuel tonight. They were flopping in the breeze. Mr. "Master Mechanic" installed them wrong, apparently the tab A in slot B thing was too confusing. #ad

It's a good thing that from now on "I am my own warranty station". Big D and the dealer will never meet again. BOMBs away. #ad

To help out possible future victims of this Sorry dealer why don't you write a letter to DC and let them know about the sorry service at their 5 STAR dealer I'll bet they hear about it ,and maybe they will lose their rating.

I did that before and all Chyrsler headquarters did was send my letter to the dealer for them to settle the matter. Long story short I got a call from the service manager who was mad as he11 I complain to Chyrsler about their rude service and **** poor workmanship. Chysler headquarters did not give a I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER, after they got my money on the purchase of the truck is when the "customer satisfaction" stopped.

The one time I had to talk to the factory people I had a very good experience. The factoryrep that comes around to the dearly had denied my claim on rust through outer body panels. This was on a '83 Dodge turbo diesel D-50. After talking to the guy in the Zone office ,I got a call from my local dealer in less than 30 minutes. They said to bring in my truck and it would be fixed .
Complete new bed, both doors and rocker panels. Almost unbelieveable. I know people have trouble with both dealers and DC but some of us have had very good service . I think the key is don't get mad and yell and scream , this gets you zip. sugar attracts more flies than vinegar.

You are all wrong. In the big "G" country, our funny speaking brothers could care less what you think. Mercedes is there only concern. The money people want your cash not your *****en'. Welcome to the real world.

Turbo Thom,
I have to give a pat on the back to at least one dealer in your state--Bennett Dodge in Kingsland. After a tow from Houston, my driveshaft seal was leaking at the rear-end and trip computer was losing its mind. They replaced both with a smile and no questions asked. They also didn't say, "We were unable to duplicate the problem". That seems to be the favorite line of Fiesta Dodge in San Antonio. All in all, I was very impressed with the folks in Georgia.
