My '06 has 125,000 miles on it, To start the truck never seemed to have great movement of air, but I learned to live with it. I had the evaporator replaced in Florida for a tune of $1100. I am now home in Arizona. I was up in Vegas yesterday and it was 117 degrees out... . just a little warm. A/c worked good on the way up, stopped for about an hour to eat and jumped back in the truck and the blower is bearly blowing. A/c is good and cold, but no air blowing, or just minimal. I pulled the blower today and it seems to be ok, I pulled what looks like a "thermistor or sand resistor" just to the left of the fan located up in the vent housing. When I pull the resistor I can feel good strong air blowing through the holew where it is mounted. I look behind the glove box and to the left and see the deflection door, looks for defrost to floor, I pull the arm off the deflector and manually operate the door and it doesn't seem to make a difference in the air blow. It deffinatly seems like a blockage between the blower and the vents. Is there anything short of pulling the whole dash that I can check for or do?
