Yes we do use the a/c on warm winter day's her in California. my problem is the compressor cycles on for 2 or 3 seconds then off for 5 seconds then on again for 2 then off for 5 and so on continuously when a/c set to on position, is this an indication of leak hence low refrigerant thanks Chris

It is on the top of the accumulator on the passanger side back by firewall. Jumper the 2 wires together. If system starts to cool the switch is bad. If not the system is probably low on refrig. The switch can be removed without loosing refrigerant.

Thanks for cycle switch info, jumpering switch leads did work, cold air coming through system. 60degress outside freezing in cab. So now when I remove cycle switch from canister near right firewall is refrigerant going to escape??
