A few weeks ago I had a leak in my Pacbrake air system that you guys helped me out with. It turned out to be the quick disconnect. NOW, this morning I started the truck and flipped the Pacbrake switch to help warm up the truck and nothing happened. Then about 2 seconds later, I heard a small snap and the brake engaged, BUT everytime I engage the brake I hear air hissing from the brake and my air gauge drops quickly. When I disengage the brake I have no leak. Anyone have any clues? I really like the peformance of the PRXB but I'm getting sick of the issues with the compressed air and cold weather (This is my first winter with it).

Also, does anyone have the phone number for Pacbrake? I can't find it on their website. Thanks all!

800. 663. 0096

The above is their number, from their web sight, ask for tech support... .

All of my trucks sit outside... . it's been in the teens here and we've never had a problem... . you must keep the moisture out of the air lines... . water will freeze and until it melts will prevent the brake from working.....

I think if freezing is a possbility, an inline dryer should be provided with the kit. It's not like the brakes are cheap. I'll call them today and see what they have to say. Thanks.
