I was really surprised to realize that the SOX have only won 5 penants now and been spanked in all previous Wrold Series attempts. And two of 'em were by the Cards who are lurking on the horizon.



the way the Bronx bums played in the last 4 games they didn't deserve to win anything and I'm a diehard fan of about 50 years... ... .

Have you checked his numbers since he left? Find me another SS... ok just about ANY position player with better stats.



I guess it really goes to what stats are important... this is a complete player much like Jeter but more power numbers... he's even defensively excellent too!

That's his career stats... point to me how "down the tubes" works after he left seattle.



Albeit this season with the yanks wasn't "stellar", but still a much better SS/3b than most.
