I have a 2016 ecodiesel with 88k on it. I bought it with 66k. I'm worried about my intake manifold and egr getting all gunked up and having troubles. I have to pass emissions so deleting isn't an option! And I don't want to fork over a ton of money to have the dealer do it. I've heard of Liqui moly to add to the fuel to help clean things out. Is there anything else besides taking the manifold off on my own to clean it up as much as possible?

Should be covered in AME 10/120 Warranty...With the EPA Shutting Down PPEI & GDE, deleting is down to one company and its only Time before they are shut down.

Excuse my ignorance as this is my first diesel and am trying to learn as much as i can. Your saying i can take it to the dealer and they will take care of it?

The settlement will cover defects to the EGR system, but the intake manifold is not one of the covered items. It does cover diagnosis of any CEL, regardless if it was caused by the AEM or not. It also will not cover the preventative cleaning of the EGR or manifold so if you want to clean it up you would have to do it yourself.

I thought so also, some owners have claimed it was covered under the 4/48 - 10 /120 https://www.ecodieselram.com/forum/ You would have to do the search ,I just don't have the time to find the threads I read the info. again it could have been covered under the 100k/5. Some ED owners are just to clueless... Seriously some ED owners didn't even know the 3.0 was made in Italy.
