Well, my son just bought a 92 W250 Cummins, Ext cab, auto, etc, etc. Is pretty much stock so I'll get to help him turn it up a little. I asked him how it accelerates and the answer was immediate - not as fast as yours Dad!

That makes 3 trucks in the family now. I have the 93, the son has a 92, and my brother has a 95 dually 2 wheel drive. Also have an Uncle and a couple of cousins that have Dodge/Cummins trucks.

I was looking at Genos catalog and noticed the 92 has a different air filter than the 93. I thought they were the same. Does anyone know the difference between the two? Is the inlet hose the same size or smaller?

The injectors are the same aren't they?

I believe the only difference between the 92 and 93 air filters is the way they are retained, the 92 has a stud that goes through the middle to hold the filter. Same size inlet hose.

The injectors are the same.

Bob, he has always listened. (almost always!:D ) He has been wanting to get one for some time, is already asking questions about turning the pump up and things like that. I wish he was a little closer to home so we could work on it together. He is about 3 1/2 hours south of here, is down by Willyslover's place.

When are you heading up to Piers? Are you going to run up with Hoss and the other NWB guys? We are going to leave here on the 22nd and take our time going up, will be a 2 week vacation for us.

I've been trying to do some of the stuff that has been sitting on the shelf for my truck. Did a flush and refill along with a new water pump and thermistat and adjusted the valves yesterday afternoon and today. I'm also going to put in a switch so I can run the transmission super cooler manually and not just when the fluid heats up. Figured this will help out on some of the big hills I'll need to pull with the travel trailer. Turn the switch on at the bottom of the hill. Ashland grade is one of the big pulls I'll go over unless we go up the coast route.

I'm looking forward to meeting you as well as some of the other guys on the 27th. I suspect there will be a real big group of people there based on what everyone is saying about going up. Hell, I'm going early before the border guards close it down to Dodge diesel pickups cause of the number crossing over to Canada

:D :D

Stan

I plan on heading up to my son's place in North Seattle on the 26th and will take him and his wife out to dinner for his birthday earlier in the week. I will make the last 100 miles on Sat the 27th. I have invited him to come with me but not sure that he will.

I plan on telling the Canadian authorities the we are planning on towing Piers shop back to the US:D :D :D - Hope they won't mind.

I know one of the border guards at I-5 crossing (just might be staying at his house Friday night). I don't think there will be a problem towing the shop back! I'll just have to call ahead and find out what lane he is working! :)

Bob, now I just need to get him to join TDR. I'll probably have to pay for the first year to get him hooked.

Hmmmmm - I heard some rumors also and am waiting to see about them.
