Will a Daniel Sterns harness be necessary for led conversion on sport headlights?

That would be funny if it winds up being required since he is anti-LED.

Most of the 2nd Gen LED "kits" I have seen have the harnesses needed.

Don't tell Daniel, BUT I have one of his sport conversion harness plugged into LED's! Not entirely happy with the low beam output, BUT on high beam they are pretty good, using these bulbs: https://headlightrevolution.com/led-headlight-bulbs/v-4-led-headlight-bulbs/
