This is the deal. I'm looking for more power... I bet you guys don't hear that every day... :D I'm thinking about going to a Mach 4. Can I run these on a stock turbo without being in too much danger. I'm in the process of buying a new house so funding is a bit limited. Therefore a turbo isn't an option at the moment. I don't tow or run heavy. 90% of my miles are unloaded highway miles. Opinions/suggestions appreciated.

If you keep an eye on your gauges... But it'll run way hot if you don't watch your right foot. I ran with my stock turbo with M4's a EZ, BD Fueling box... It'd run hot, but I could control it. If you're planning on getting a bigger turbo in the future go for it ad watch the gauges, or else buy a used set of 2's until you can afford a turbo at the same time, but you may also need more upgrades too... the list never seems to end, fuel pump, o-rings, billet shafts..... etc...

Go for it - you can keep Mach 5s cool with a stocker if you're careful. Hohn has been running an HX35 with his Mach 4s for several months now. Lots of guys are doing it.



Just remember you're not going to get a 150HP gain without the proper amount of air.



Make sure you get a drilled boost elbow or a manual boost controller to open your turbo up a little. The extra boost will help keep things cool. I've got a Joe P boost controller listed in the classifieds.

Would a turnbuckle help for boost, or am I in the "apples to oranges" territory. I've got one sitting in the garage.
 
02 with auto has the HY35, I wouldn't recommend running Mach 4's with that turbo, since you have the turn buckle get yourself some small injectors and timming box, the boost fooler is bild in
