Hey there!! Seems like I am still learning the quirks of the new 07!! Today I ran the AC ( Like I always do) but I forgot to turn it off prior to shutting the truck down. NOrmally I like to turn the AC off about 1/4 mile from my house or stopping location and leave the blower on. I heard this lets the engine cool down and also keeps moisture from staying in the system and getting that "Moldy" smell later on. I noticed I had a fairly good sized puddle of fluid under the FRONT of the truck, kind of near the Water pump area... After my heart returned to it's proper place and I quit cussing, I stooped down and come to find out it is just CLEAR, COLD , water! Made me feel better. I had never heard of AC water dripping there before so I headed over to the dealer to ask what they thought... .
THey said that anywhere along the aluminum AC lines condensation can form and pool... Not just from the back at the Evaporator. . Especially in Humid climates ( It's dry here but has been humid lately)... . TOld me that if it is clear water, and the AC is comfortable ( It actually can get a bit cold at times!! :-laf) THat all is well... .
Anyone ever heard of this. . ??? I am just releive it is not coolant ... LOLOL I even tasted it!!
