Other than taking a pressure reading how else can you tell you lift pump is going south? Maybe this is not related but it has happened to me twice now in less than a week. When I start out from a light the truck is real doggie, this seems to only happen at a low rpm. The rest of the time the truck runs good. The only thing these two times have in common is that I was waiting for a long light to change. Or maybe it's just me reading to many or these posts and looking for something to go wrong. What do you think the truck is going in on Monday and I already know what the answer is going to be.

Thats about the only reliable way. Some lift pumps are dead for minutes, then come back to life for several days. You need to do a constant check because you might do a 10 second psi check during one of its strong moments. Its not "either theyre bad or good". They do go int o half a$$ mode quite often as well.

Thanks Chad I need to read some posts to see what the pressure is suppose to be on the lift pump. I need all of the ammo I can get before Monday. You know "We found no codes" "Could not duplicate the problem" or the worst one "It drives like a Dodge 4x4"
