Attention: TDR Forum Junkies just my story, I could make it along one but here's the short version, Parked truck at midnight wednesday night in my driveway, did not go to start truck again until friday afternoon, truck started and ran for about 7 seconds and shutoff, because of the TDR website info that everyone posts, and some of the conditions that the truck was having the first thing I checked was fuel pressure, I had none, ZERO, man I'm I lucky the pump failed sitting in my driveway, called a cummins dealer, they said they had nothing for "pick-ups", but I gave them the lift pump cummins part# that was listed on this site, hey guess what they had one!!!
so I got it $163. 00, 20 minutes to take off the old one about the same to put on the new one, only 2 hours in friday traffic to get the pump. Yes the old one was still under warranty but it's a $105. 00 tow bill to get to a certified dealer, and it would have been until tuesday getting the truck back!! So for 60 more I fixed it myself and back on road friday evening, Oo. Yes I could have made this story longer!!!
