Brought my 2001 into the dealer for a check of the lift pump. They said it was running great and was functioning within specs. Sounds good. Back home that very same day the infamous Hopper gauge comes in the mail. Out to hook it up and get readings that are a little under specs. Call the dealer the next day to see what type of readings they got. Dealer replies that the pump is either good or bad and that they didn't perform any tests on it but a road test. For their diagnostic work they charged me $30. I let them know that my readings indicated the pump was not within specs. They said bring it back again. Day 2 they performed some tests but needed it for another day. Day 3 the pump was finally replaced. Why do things have to take so long. Remember the days when work was performed in a day and not 3.
