My lift pump quit tonight and i dont have time to wait untill monday to get it fixed under warrenty and i was wandering if anyone knows of a replacement that will bolt in the oem place and also how much an oem from DC cost? i tried a NAPA store by me and they have no listings for the pump.

Brian, I think Summit Racing has the HP Carter pumps that I believe will bolt right in. You may check local speed shops instead of your typical Napa or Checker or whatever. It won't plug in the same though but you may be able to reuse the wiring off your old one. Check the Lift pump thread, there is discussion about the Carter pumps (I know its loooongg but start with Page 3).

How do you know for sure it's dead?

Brian, if you have a cummins store close by get one from them. The price of the lift pump is about $140. from cummins verses $390. from dodge. The lift pump is a direct change out.
