I apologize in advance if this has been covered specifically in another MaxBrake thread. I've searched through many of them and I didn't come across this specific question.

I'm already a MaxBrake user, so I am in no way questioning it's performance and quality. Along with our Cummins powered trucks, I also own a 2010 Ram 1500 4x4 that was purchased new without the factory brake controller. I haven't towed anything with it yet, but will be in the near future. I also want to install a MaxBrake controller on that truck, but have a couple of questions about how it will work with the multitude of systems that truck came with. That 1/2 ton has hill start assist, traction control, trailer sway control, etc. that all use the brake system as part of the programming. I would assume that the 4th gen HD trucks use the same features, but I don't have enough experience with them to know for sure. Since the MaxBrake reads line pressure directly, has anyone experienced any unusual trailer brake characteristics when installed on a vehicle with all of these "advanced stability" systems? This is the first vehicle that we have owned that has any of these programs and it has taken a little getting used to the truck thinking for you. I guess I'm just wondering if the MaxBrake will cause the trailer brakes to modulate in an unexpected manner if brake force is being applied and one of the "advanced stability" systems are also functioning.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Shouldn't be a problem. Traction/stability/sway control all work off the ABS Brake system. You'll be taping in a sensor close to the master cylinder, not downstream of the ABS pump.
