another newbe

Well, after about 11 months following the posts in this forum I finally purchased my 2500. I found a used 99 with about 36k miles, 4X4, auto transmission,3. 55 gear ratio, forest green, and LB.

I have only put about 500 miles on it so far and am averaging about 18 MPG around town/to work and about 22MPG on the road going about 65.

I'm not going to bomb it for a while due to the warrenty issues and the fact that I do don't want a transmission rebuild anytime soon. I'm just going to drive around and have some fun. Hopefully next spring, I will be towing a small 5th for short weekend trips in and around the southern Missouri area.

I look forward in sharing ideas with you all and I'll be asking questions soon.

I guess i must have real poor will power, I only lasted about 20 hours and 98 miles before bombing my truck. Got to love that EZ. SPA gauges are the next thing to go on my truck also, hopefully in the next month.
