Hi!

Final Four

So I hear you folks are going to get buried. My condolences it is 90 here today and suppose to stay there the next few days. Be safe and stay warm.

Dave

We really appreciate your concern. Twist the knife one more time for good luck. In all seriousness it's just New England weather. It was in the fifties a couple of weeks ago. Been in the single digits for the last 4 nights. When I did a short stint as public works director for our town we got 20 inches on May 7th.

Thanks David......my mother was winding me up last night on the phone telling me it was 90 or so in Mesa and that she was headed for the pool........

-5 at the house Saturday right at high noon and the wind was just screaming....I love it...

80 here in Ca. And gas tax was just raised .12 cents, diesel rose .20 cents and vehicle registration rose an additional $38 per year.

Here's the end result of our last big blast. 36" in 24 hours which was ok, but two days later it warmed up and rained for 10-12 hours. My boy had wrestling tournaments so we were out of town all day and I was a wreck about our greenhouse. When we got home we spent a good hour and a half in the dark pulling snow off of the top with a snow rake. I took a look at the chicken coop and it seemed to be ok so I decided it would be fine until day light. No dice. She went down sometime while we were in bed. :{

SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT!!!

NOW wouldn't be a good time to visit?? :-laf

Crazy day delivering propane yesterday, now today everyone is at home.
12" and possibly 10" more. It's OK, we are ready :)
I have a Skid loader so I'm good ;)

Will from the weather folks here in my area it is more hype than reality. The Chicago Il weather forecasters were predicting from 4 to 6 inches in my area. What did we get 2 inches over 48-hour period! Oh, will this is Chicago and they can never forecast the weather here correctly!

So, you may not get as much as the weather forecasters predict. They always seem to scream what "CHICKEN LITTLE" did so, now whenever a storm is forecasted it is always doom and gloom.

It's a bust here. Just slush that will freeze bad later. The spinners shall keep spinnin and my bed around the wheel wells will continue to disappear.*

He wouldn't fare to well with a 10 ft pusher on his skid steer around here today. 10-12 inches of wet snow then rain. 1st time I remember this little snow and having to leave the plow in V to break open every drive I plowed.

When it was just getting started, 30 miles and 1/2 hour difference between the two pictures...it's really coming down now...

Skid steers definitely have their limitations traction being the big limiter. They don't do so well on slick surfaces when the load your pushing gets so so. We have a 7 ft pusher on our 236 and if you don't plow with the storm your better off getting the big equipment out.
They're especially handy for cleaning up tight spots though. Excellent maneuverability.
