2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Another P1698 problem

I have read every thread on this problem I can find and checked all the suggested fixes and mine still will not go away. Pulled the gauges and reset, ran self test gauges good. checked the connections on the pcm, all three plugs looked good saw no corrosion and repluged several times. checked all the fuses under the hood all good checked the connections on the ECM no corrorsion and tight. Truck runs great, overhead console reads CCD, radio works, heater works, where does a guy go from here?

Any luck in resolving this? I started out with the same problem as an intermittant, now it is here to stay.
