With a transmission bolt pattern that looks like a 4r100 and the fram spin on oil filter shown in the other pictures, i would say take a closer look at the engine bay.. It's appears to be a gasser? The 6.0 used a cartridge oil filter, and the 5spd trq shift transmission..

Quite a few of those piles in Alaska. Quigley conversion 4x4's and a couple of the oil field mechanics I know absolutely despise having to work on them. A bad idea (van) made worse by Ford.
