The APPS is sticking mostly when over 1500 rpm. Today was going down a road and was doing 85 km's went to accelerate and the throttle pedel was very stiff. So cluched and the rpm went up to 2800 rpm and wouldn't come down. So had to jump out and pull the linkage forward to get it to go back to idle. Sounds like I need to get a new apps??? Anyone had this problem? :{

Thanks.

I seriously doubt it is the APPS - far more likely to be the cable or mechanical linkage BETWEEN the accelerator and the actual APPS module. Try a little detective work - you'll find it... Pull the plastic APPS cover off, and check in there for free movement - the internals of the APPS are so delicate that any binding as you describe would wipe out the internals the first time it happened. ;)

Thanks Gary. But have had the cover off and the cable moves freely. and it seems to be heat related for the two sets of times that is has happened it has been running about an hour with throttle over 2000 rpm. It stuck last night when I was getting back to town let is sit for over dinner and it was fine for about 40 mins. Then when back to sticking again. So jumped out and and pulled the cam forwards and it came back to idle, for alittle while. If I don't go over 80 km's doesn't seem as bad just hesatates before it returns backs to idle. What I did notice yesterday morning was the engine had a ???? lop in the idle something different form the usual misfueling at idle it has always had . Just more money out on this yellow creature.
