I have a 2000 non-sport. I want to upgrade to the sport headlights. ******* wants to replace the entire wiring harness to the engine compartment. Not gonna happen.

Can anyone give me a list of parts needed and where to get them.

I plan on running HID only on the low beams if that makes a difference.

Thanks

Chris

A pair of extra light socket plug thingies and a couple relays and some wire, solder, heat shrink. (Or you could buy a ready-made harness adapter for about $50)

Mine is a sport and has the best headlights of any vehicle I've ever owned----my question is is there any other driving light options available? From the cab I can't even tell they are on if the headlights are on---local parts store says they don't make a brighter bulb that fits!!

I did my own wiring conversion after buying the kit and looking at it. Too much $ for what you get and mines better. I wired it to light up the low beam element and the high beam element when the brights are on. Awesome performance, no need for different bulbs.

You need 2 relays and a diode. You can buy the connectors for the lights at most auto parts places. For the plug to connect to the existing harness I used an old bulb base, just like the kit. I recommend soldering and heat shrinking all the connections, it hold up well.
