Does anyone think I can put a straight piece of pipe between the rear of the cat to the rear of the muffler, replacing the muffler and the short piece of pipe between the cat and muffler? This would not be bent, only flared. My two concerns are 1) the angle throwing off the tailpipe angle (I want to keep it stock looking) and 2) I would be removing the 5 or so hangars from there, although I could cut them off and re-weld them onto the replacement.

Thanks

Nick

You could, but the joints woul not be straight if you want to weep the tail pipe where it suppose to be. I bought a piece of straight and 2 45* elbows. Makes a cleaner more professional looking install.
