Another towing mirror Question ?

I have the electric, chrome mirrors on my 96. They are horrible for towing. I have looked at fatory flip up towing mirrors. All i can find for my year of truck is manual mirrors. Is the change going to be worth it, electric to manual? I seen some on ebay for around $200 is this reasonable?

Power towing mirrors did not come out till the 3rd gens, which will not fit the sheet metal on the older trucks. If you have a set of the 3rd gen and 2nd gen towing mirrors, you can disect and reassemble to get a set of power mirrors for the 2nd gen, but it's kind of costly if you need to buy two sets of mirrors. I had the manual mirrors on my 01. 5 and really liked them, with the exception of the manual control. They would still be a good upgrade IMHO.
