2001 75000 miles,White smoke,miss over 1,200 RPM,Dead peddle. Fuel pressure 15LBS. I did talk to a person at an Bosch Autherized center and he said Bosch has got a lot of problems with that pump,Rebuild is on and all is well... It's getting to the point if you go anywhere you need a whole set of tools to take with you,an extra lift pump and an umbrella if it's raining.....

Problems with my

Your description of the problems your having is exactly what I'm having with my 02. Dead peddle on cold starts until she starts to warm up along with lots of white smoke. I have a new replacement on order from the dealership, which is warranted, but I'm concerned the next one will be on my dime. I had one dealership say they've had to replace many of these pumps because of over heating due to clogged or restricted air flow through the radiators that have'nt been kept clean. (The areas between each radiator).

Anyway, I hope this one lasts longer than 75,000.

The radiator and all in front of it is as clean as a pin you could eat off of it,It,s the electronics that go in them.
