Howdy,

My cousin is selling his work truck, a 92 or 93 D250 CTD, club cab, service body, in excess of 300,000 miles or thereabouts. It still runs okay, doesn't burn much oil I don't believe, body is a little rough, and the fitment of the doors/hood aint very hot as they are not the originals. He said he wanted the service body, but I won't need it for drag racing or playing around like I want it for anyway.

Also, it is an automatic.

Since I help him work on his Cummins (he has 2 currently) He asked me if would give 1500 dollars for it. It had the inj pump replaced a couple years ago under the recall.

So, what do ya'll think, is it worth it

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I've never heard of an injection pump recall for first gens... what's it all about? My '92 pump is original.

Do a search. There really was a recall. There is a site somewheres, that will show you how to determine if your pump is under the recall and or has been replaced.

http://dodgeram. info/tsb/recalls/605.htm

This is where I found the injection pump recall.

I believe that this would be a pretty cool truck to play with, I've been wanting a 2wd 1st Gen to race/play with.

I've done got the list made up in my mind, Stacks/turbo/injectors/trans/tractions bars/street slicks etc... :D Oo. Guess I better get the truck first

I called Daimler-Chrysler today and gave the girl my VIN number... She said there are no recalls for the 1992 W350 listed. I'm guessing this was a Cummins recall? Again, I'm sorry to hijack this thread, just trying to find out if there may be a problem with my truck. Thanks for the info.

BH, you did visit that site Carolina Cummins posted? Then check out your pump real good for those numbers that are affected by the recall?
