In my 99 Service manual page #7-33 it refers to a one way check valve "Jiggle Pin" used as a servicing feature that will vent air when the system is being filled. Anyone know where it's at?

My manual also states that the cooling capacity is at 24 Qts? Six gallons? Do any of you use the "Fleet Charge" pre-mix? I was thinking of going that route just for the ease of pouring in straight from the bottle & not having to worry about the 50-50 mix knowing full well that I won't get 100% of the coolant removed from the system.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The jiggle pin is on the thermostat. I like to back flush the system thru the heater hose port on top of the motor. The procedure is in the TDR a few issues ago. You will need close to 6 gallons to re-fill.
