I changed my passenger side, front axle U joint. In the process I hit the gear for the anti lock brake sensor. It was mashed pretty good so I attempted to hit it and grind it back into shape. It's close, but seems a little short. My problem is now the anti locks are keeping me from, stopping. I have to stand on the brakes just to get the truck to slow down. It would be impossible without my engine brake.

Any ideas of how to fix this? Oh yeah, please don't say to buy a new front axle.

Thanks,

Brad

I had a similar isue with my 2wd. I ended up cutting the wires to the sensors so that the sensor didn't sent a false signal to the controller. Your antilocks will not be functional, but at least they will not falsley engage the controller. Time for a new sensor.
