I recently installed a folding flat floor in my '03 Quadcab, and love it. However, it's nice smooth black paint doesn't grip well on items like ice chests, cardboard boxes, etc. They slide around quite a bit.

Can anyone recommend a solution? I'm thinking of just brushing on a quick coat of anti slip paint, or something similar. Ideally, a non skid surface like a rubberized husky mat would be great.

Simple and cheap is what I'm looking for . Thanks

Thanks guys. Yep, thought about the Linex and even powdercoating, but that's a bit pricey.

I'll look for some adhesive strips that aren't too rough. In the past I've used a small amount of clean sand in paint for sidewalks and steps, so maybe that's my best bet. I guess I was really looking for a small (pint or so) of rubber like paint stuff that I could just apply with a small roller or brush...

Up here in Canada we have a muti purpose store called "Canadian Tire" Kinda mix of a "GI Joes and Walmart" They sell the rubber bed liner kits in cans just what you looking for. I would try some kinda of auto parts place or even an industrial coatings place. I think they sell that stuff for about $35 a quart. They also sell it in a spray can for about $10 bucks which would probably be more to your liking. Good Luck

Try some of that no-slip shelf liner that RVers use. It is avalable at Wally World for just a few dollars a roll and it is removable.
