2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission antifreeze in 01

I have a 03 3500 ho and it takes special antifreeze, My son just purchested an 01 ho 2500, and it looks like they had regular old antifreeze in it , does he need to change that out , or is he o. k????

Go by what the bible (owners manual) says, can't go wrong if you do.
