I'm new here so could someone point me in the right direction.

2000 Ram 3500 4x4 with 4 wheel antilock brakes.

I cleaned under the hood at the car wash and then about the third time i turned off the key the antilock brake pump motor kept running.

I dried the connectors and it still runs. I have the connection to the motor unpluged.

What do i try next?

Thanks,

Scott

Check for power on Fuse #3. It should only be powered when the key is in the run position. If you're getting power all the time, then your problem lies between the batteries and fuse panel, and you should also have some other things powered up that shouldn't be (like the blower).

Otherwise, check for power on the red wire with the dark blue tracer going into the ABS controller. That's the wire that feeds power when the key is on. It should be pin 4 in the large connector.
